Prof. Xiomara Cervantes awarded 2021 Career Enhancement Fellowship for Junior Faculty!

Prof. Xiomara Cervantes has been awarded a six-month 2021 Career Enhancement Fellowship for Junior Faculty. The Fellowship is funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and administered by the Institute for Citizens & Scholars. The fellowship allows exceptional junior faculty to pursue scholarly research and writing to facilitate their progress toward tenure. The Fellowship includes a stipend, research, travel or publication grant, a mentoring program, and participation in the 2021 Career Enhancement Retreat. This fellowship attests to Prof. Cervantes' outstanding quality of research as recognized at the national level.
